HOW IS PILAP ORGANIZED?

divider

In 2021, PILAP has been reorganised to make the organisation more transparent, responsive, democratic, and participative and to create real ownership of the civic issues that PILAP champions by the citizens themselves.

The organisational structure has been modified to make this possible through the introduction of a Citizens’ Assembly that will comprise of patriotic, caring, and conscientious citizens who will take on the critical task of sustaining and driving the organisation's legislative and advocacy agenda forward

HOW PILAP WORKS?

divider

The PILAP Citizens' Assembly (CA) meets, in person or virtually, twice a year - once in January and again in July to recommend, discuss, and debate the following year's Legislative and Advocacy Agenda and allow the Management Team to provide a progress report.

Members of the Citizens’ Assembly have the right to shape the agenda by nominating issues that could be taken up by PILAP. CA Members may propose issues close to their hearts that they’d like to champion and gather support from others.
